Trainings
The Red Elephant Foundation offers training programs for awareness and safety planning for corporate, university and community-level audiences. To arrange for a session at your organization, please write to us at info@redelephantfoundation.org with a request for any of our catalogue of training sessions below. Sessions can be conducted online (via video conferencing) and offline (in-person).
Corporate Domestic Violence Trainings:
REF offers training for corporate settings via seminars and workshops to address the issue of domestic violence/family abuse and the effects of unhealthy relationships carried over from home to the workplace. Trainings will offer education, resources and techniques HR departments can offer employees to ensure support and appropriate counseling. Trainings will also teach HR personnel appropriate responses to those suffering DV and offering appropriate DV education, safety planning, access to resources, information and options. Workplace Sexual Harassment Awareness Training
REF offers training on Workplace Sexual Harassment Awareness (WSH) and also assists corporate establishments in framing policies specific to addressing WSH, constituting committees to address Sexual Harassment complaints and grievances. Training sessions will help the staff and Human Resources department to specifically address WSH and offer appropriate material, administer and manage romantic relationships in the workplace.
Gender Based Violence Sensitization and Awareness Training
REF offers training on GBV Sensitization and Awareness programs. Sessions aim at helping shift mindsets and attitudes away from violence, and also sensitize communities towards the needs of those who face violence.
Gender Equality Workshops
The Gender Equality Workshop seeks to build a state of interpersonal equality between all the genders, across the board. Through empathy, challenges to extant attitudes and hands-on learning of the adverse impacts of gender inequality on all the genders, the workshops will seek to foster shifts in mindsets towards equality.
